* participated in the Festival of Booths as it might have been celebrated during Jesus' time

* encountered Jesus as he announced himself as the long-awaited King

* explored the reactions of the people to Jesus' life-changing teachings and miracles

* discovered how to shake up his or her life to believe fully in God and Jesus

The Shake-Up

Believing that Jesus is the Son of God is the foundation of Christian belief and a key ingredient for children to incorporate into their lives as they carry out God's recipe.

 

Table Talk

 

Discuss the importance of believing fully in Jesus. Pray with your child and ask for help to strengthen your belief. This practice builds on this prayer habit the children began developing earlier in the week. Continue to help your child find a time to talk with God each day.
