Sara Hazen is the Director of Music at Central Church. She directs the Youth
Choir, the Bell Choirs, the Chancel Choir, and leads music on Sunday morning (among other responsibilities). Sara has two
girls, Ashley and Aubrey.

Jill Leek is the Director of the New Joy Choir and the Carol Choir. She is married
to Randy and they have two children, Riana and Becka.

Bell Choir
Bell groups participate in worship
approximately every six weeks. Rehearsals currently take place on Thursday evenings. The Good News Ringers are comprised
of youth in grades 4 through 8. This is an opportunity for them to learn some basics of music theory and note reading as they
prepare anthems for worship services and have fun. No previous musical experience is necessary. Practice Thursdays at 5:15,
lower level - Room 15.
Liturgical Dance
Praising
God through movement has a tradition steeped in history. Opportunities to praise God with dance are available for two different
age groups. No previous dance experience is necessary. Dance Choirs are open to both girls and boys. Sacred and contemporary
choreography is set to music for participation in worship services approximately every six weeks. The Alleluia Dance Choir
consists of children from 3rd grade through 6th grade. Children learn some basic dance techniques, movement to different rhythms
and expressing themselves prayerfully through dance. Rehearsals currently take place on Thursdays from 4:15-5:15 pm in the
Sanctuary. The dance choir is under the direction of Katey Gay.

Children Choirs
The Carol Choir is
for ages 4 through 1st grade. This choir has fun while singing God's praises. Their music is made a part of the worship services
approximately every six weeks. Practice is at 4:45pm on Thursday under the direction of Jill Leek in the Chapel.
The New Joy Choir is for 2nd through 6th grades. This choir has fun and presents their music to the congregation
during worship services approximately every six weeks. Practice is at 6:30pm on Thursday under the direction of Jill Leek
